Description
A single, large, oval lapis stone is set as the focal point of this incredible cuff by Navajo silversmith Leslie Nez. The stone, varying denim to deep blue and containing large portions of pyrite, is set in a sawtooth sterling silver bezel and surrounded at the base by a sterling silver rope pattern. This, in turn, is bordered by a sterling band on one side, and appliqued sterling dot and scroll patterns on the other. Stone and silverwork are set on a thrice split sterling silver shank which merges at each end. 2 1/4″ long x 1 7/8″ wide, with an inner end to end measurement of 5 1/2″ and a 1 1/8″ opening. Cuff is slightly adjustable.
