Description
Well-known Hopi potter Stetson Setalla created this gorgeous, contemporary bowl by hand, painting it with traditional designs in several colors. The bowl’s shape is reminiscent of a basket, and features traditional kiva step and weather patterns painted in tear drop shaped panels along the outside. The rim of the piece showcases a painted, spotted effect, followed by brown and red bands and finished with whirlwind/wave and rain patterns. The piece’s base color is reflective of the clay typically found along the Hopi mesas. 4 1/2″ tall x 12″ wide.
