Description
A large, heavy buffalo is depicted in the White Buffalo stone in this impressive piece by Zuni carver Tony Mackel. The buffalo showcases an off-white coloration with black accents, and is lightly carved with fine lines to make it more life-like. It is finished with turquoise eyes and a curved tail. In many Native American cultures, the buffalo is a sacred animal, representing abundance and endurance. 2 1/8″ tall x 1 1/2″ wide x 4 1/2″ long.
